How lovely that you are interested in a Mother Heart Circle.
More and more women are longing for a place where we can slow down. A place where we can simply come as we are, open ourselves to ancient wisdom, listen, share, pray and truly meet one another.
Free from having to do or achieve anything, but simply through the invitation to be together.
And so, Mother Heart Circles are coming to life.
Intimate gatherings in the warmth of a home, around tea, silence, Dertien Herinneringen uit het Moederhart and the web of life that connects us all.
The inspiration for these Circles came to me through the Mother Heart, because the Great Mother wants us to know and feel how deeply loved we are. To remember that we are not alone, and that there is a force so much greater than ourselves — a force that carries us.
A Circle in a woman’s home
A Mother Heart Circle takes place in the warm and welcoming space of a home.
In simplicity, in the home of a woman who opens her door and creates space for a small circle of women.
A place where we can arrive.
Where silence is welcome.
Where words may arise.
Where we can listen together to what is alive within us.
Where the Great Mother may whisper ancient memories into our hearts.
Perhaps You Are a Hearth Keeper
For these Mother Heart Circles, I am looking for women who feel that they would like to open their home and their heart to other women.
I call these women Hearth Keepers.
A Hearth Keeper does not have the responsibility of leading the Circle. She opens her door and, together with me, creates the practical space in which the gathering can take place.
Perhaps, as you read this, you feel something within you saying:
Yes. I would love to do this.
Perhaps your home could be one of the first places where a Mother Heart Circle comes to life.

Dertien Herinneringen uit het Moederhart
The foundation of the Mother Heart Circles is my little book, Dertien Herinneringen uit het Moederhart.
It is therefore helpful, though not required, to have read the book before joining a Circle.
The Thirteen Remembrances form the starting point for our gatherings. Each remembrance opens, in its own way, a doorway to conversation, silence, prayer and recognition.
When you receive the book at home, you will also find a flyer inside with an invitation to either join a Mother Heart Circle or become a Hearth Keeper yourself.
A gift from the Mother Heart
The Mother Heart Circles are a gift.
This means that the wisdom we share and the Grandmother Blessing are gifts to every woman. Given from love.
That is why I want to consciously keep the gathering itself accessible. There is no fixed price for the Circle.
I do ask for a small contribution towards the practical space around the gathering, such as preparation, travel expenses, tea, something to eat and flowers.
At this moment, I am considering a contribution of:
€33 per woman
This keeps the Circle accessible, while allowing us to support the practical space around it together.
A small fire that may grow
Perhaps it begins very simply.
With one woman opening her door.
With a few women gathering around a table.
With tea.
With silence.
With a story.
With a prayer.
And with the remembrance that we are never truly alone on our journey.
Perhaps we will meet one another soon in the home of a Hearth Keeper.
